A Message from Colleen Larionoff, Innovation Coordinator:

For 6th Grade Parents & Guardians
Introducing the TREP$ Entrepreneurial Program;
Save the Date for the Marketplace Event on Thursday, December 12

October 18, 2024

Dear 6th Grade Parents/Guardians,

I hope this email finds you well. As Innovation Coordinator here at D-E, I’m excited to announce our participation in TREP$, short for “enTREPreneur$,” an educational entrepreneurial program for the sixth grade.

TREP$ is a nationally recognized, project-based learning program that teaches students how to start their own businesses. Projects are student-driven, and students learn all aspects of running a business: supply, marketing, finance, and more!

The culminating event is a marketplace in the Wharton Lessin Dining Hall on Thursday, December 12, in which students sell their goods and services to students and families until 4:30 PM, with clean-up time until 5:00 PM. All proceeds will be donated to a charity or nonprofit organization of their own choice.

We’re thrilled to be offering this opportunity to our young students. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks, and I’m happy to answer any questions along the way.

Sincerely,

Colleen Larionoff
Innovation Coordinator
